I believe a therapist is a resource and the therapy relationship is a useful tool to discover the ways in which you interact with and operate in the world. I don’t profess to be an expert in truths about human nature, and certainly not about you.

People are often unaware of the things that influence the quality of their life because they’re too stuck inside their behaviors and beliefs to have objective insight or clarity. Whether I work with individuals or couples, I can help you improve your capacity to change your experience, whether it’s your perspective, your behavior, your mood, or your reaction to people and situations.

Together we come to understand why it is you do what you do, how to make the changes to do things differently, and learn, with love and compassion, to accept the things you cannot change.

I offer down to earth support and guidance through tough times or transitions, and believe the best help comes from someone who combines practical wisdom, personal experience, knowledge, hope, and humor all of which I hope to offer you.
