I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC1912) in the state of Oregon, and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT42930) in the state of California. I hold an MA in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, CA, a school devoted to the integration of mind, body and spirit. I also hold an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, and bring a strong creative component to my work as a therapist.

My interest in psychology and personal growth has taken me from Ramana Maharshi's Ashram in Tiruvannamalai, India to the internationally-acclaimed Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California where I studied relationship and process group models. I have been a student of Gestalt therapy for over 14 years.

I've studied relationship with Dr. John Welwood, author of Perfect Love, Imperfect Relationships and
Dr. Stuart Sovatsky, author of Words from the Soul and am currently in the process of becoming a certified Gottman Method couples counselor. As a relationship educator, I have developed and facilitated
skill-building workshops for Samaritan Counseling Centers in Portland, Oregon as well as being a certified PAIRS instructor.

I have also co-facilitated groups on Women and Aging and Gestalt Process at the Esalen Institute, and was a member of the Kaiser Permanente Hospice Care team in San Francisco, CA.
